I’m Rachel. I’m probably outside and most likely (definitely) caffeinated.

I’m a photographer and writer located in Oregon. I’m also the creator behind @heyrachelirene on TikTok and Instagram. You can often find me hiking in the Gorge, combing a shoreline for sand dollars, or researching my next road trip. I love to read, visit museums & historical sites, and try out new coffee shops. Above all else, I love photography, writing, and exploring the Pacific Northwest & beyond!

I grew up in Colorado and moved here six years ago. I immediately fell in love with Oregon and Washington, so I bought a camera to document all of the beautiful places I was seeing for the first time. What started as just a hobby quickly became much more. Photography has become an integral part of my identity and I feel most myself when my camera is in my hand (especially when there is an iced quad shot in the other).
